CHOICEFIELD is designed to help you manage app habits without learning what you watch, read, search for, buy, or say. Its core protection and analysis run on your iPhone.

Information CHOICEFIELD uses

Screen Time permission and protected selections

With your permission, CHOICEFIELD uses Apple's Family Controls, Device Activity, and Managed Settings frameworks. iOS provides private tokens for the apps, categories, and websites you select. CHOICEFIELD stores those tokens in its protected App Group so the app and its extensions can apply your plan. The tokens do not reveal selected app names to us.

On-device activity records

CHOICEFIELD stores events needed to operate and explain your plan, such as when a boundary was reached, whether you left or requested temporary access, the access duration, and an anonymous token-derived identifier. These records stay on your device and are used for the Today and Review views and for explainable on-device recommendations.

Purchases

Apple StoreKit provides product, transaction, entitlement, expiration, and Family Sharing status needed to sell and restore Pro. CHOICEFIELD verifies signed StoreKit transactions on your device. Apple processes payment and account information under Apple's own policies; we do not receive your full payment details.

Support messages

If you email support, we receive the address, message, and attachments you choose to send. Do not include Screen Time screenshots or other sensitive information unless it is necessary for your request.

Information CHOICEFIELD does not collect

• No video, feed, message, search, shopping, or game content.
• No advertising identifier, cross-app tracking, or behavioral advertising.
• No location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or health data.
• No CHOICEFIELD account and no cloud upload of your protection history.
• No third-party analytics or advertising SDK in the current release.
• No AI or cloud model receives your Screen Time activity in the current release.

Storage, retention, and deletion

Plans, private selection tokens, and behavior records remain in the app's on-device App Group until you remove them or delete the app. In CHOICEFIELD, open System Diagnostics → Data & Privacy → Delete all local plans and activity records to stop protection and delete local data. Deleting local data does not cancel an App Store subscription.

Support email is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, keep essential business records, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion by contacting us.

Sharing and international processing

CHOICEFIELD does not sell personal information. The app does not send protection history to us or to data brokers. Apple may process App Store transactions, crash information you independently agree to share with Apple, and Screen Time framework operations under its terms. Support email may be processed by the email providers used to deliver it.

Your choices and rights

You can change protected apps at any time, pause protection unless Strict Lock is active, revoke Screen Time access in iOS Settings, delete local data in the app, and manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple ID settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information held through support correspondence.

Children

CHOICEFIELD is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. Parents or guardians who believe a child sent information through support may contact us for deletion.

Security and policy changes

CHOICEFIELD limits data by design and relies on Apple platform security for its sandbox, App Group, Screen Time tokens, and StoreKit verification. No system is perfectly secure. If this policy changes materially, the effective date will be updated and notice will be provided where required.
