Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of CHOICEFIELD. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms and Apple's applicable App Store terms.

What CHOICEFIELD provides

CHOICEFIELD helps you create intentional boundaries around apps, categories, and websites using Apple Screen Time APIs. Free features include independent per-app limits, system shields, balanced progressive temporary access, basic review, and Live Activities. Pro may add per-target advanced rules, local-time context plans, enhanced haptic and sound feedback, a 90-day risk radar, explainable on-device plans, and seven-day experiments with goal action cards. The current release does not send Screen Time activity to AI or cloud models.

CHOICEFIELD supports self-management, but it is not medical treatment, therapy, diagnosis, or emergency assistance. Do not rely on it where interruption or access delay could create a safety risk.

Screen Time behavior and your responsibility

Protection depends on iOS permissions, background scheduling, system settings, device state, and Apple frameworks. You control the selected apps and plan. Apple may allow permissions to be revoked or settings to be changed outside CHOICEFIELD. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted blocking or that every impulsive use will be prevented.

Subscriptions

Pro Monthly and Pro Annual are auto-renewing subscriptions. The exact price, currency, trial (if any), and billing period appear on Apple's purchase sheet before confirmation. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. A subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends.

Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Purchases can be restored from CHOICEFIELD. Refunds, billing disputes, taxes, and Family Sharing eligibility are handled by Apple under App Store rules. When Pro ends, free protection remains and Pro-only controls become dormant.

License and acceptable use

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use CHOICEFIELD on Apple devices you own or control, subject to App Store rules. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, rent, sell, interfere with, or use the app unlawfully. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreementalso applies; if these Terms conflict with it, the applicable mandatory Apple terms control.

Availability, changes, and termination

We may fix, change, add, or retire features to improve safety, comply with law, or adapt to Apple platform changes. We will not intentionally remove paid ongoing value without an appropriate transition. You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend access for unlawful abuse or where required by Apple or law.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CHOICEFIELD is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that it will be error-free or meet every personal goal. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use or inability to use the app. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded in your jurisdiction.

Privacy, governing terms, and contact

The Privacy Policy explains data handling. These Terms are interpreted under applicable law and mandatory consumer rules where you live. If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains effective. Questions: jumpingma@163.com.
